The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a triple and it was spacious enough for all of us, which was not always the case elsewhere in Scotland. In fact, this was the best hotel at the best price in all the hotels we stayed at during our 2 week trip. It was centrally located—near the main streets, train station, ferry terminal, sights, and all the amazing street murals! There is a bus stop right out front that will take you to the old town, but I'm glad we stayed close to all the action. Molly's Bistro was tasty, affordable, and open late—which was great because we arrived late on the train. There's a totally affordable Michelin Star restaurant—called Moonfish Cafe—that's less than a 10-min walk away. We had our laundry done by the hotel. They send it out and you get it back folded and clean within 1 day (or the next day, depending when you drop it off) for only £15-20. Since it was laundry for the 3 of us, it was a bargain! Would definitely return!

I chose the hotel for price and location, as I needed to be central and close to the Railway station. The room was good and a good size for 1 person, comfortable and very quiet considering the lively location. It may have been noisier at the front of the hotel, but my room was fine. Short 2/3 min walk to railway station and also to Union street. It was a perfect location for me. The staff were friendly and helpful when I needed to ask a question. As I don't normally eat breakfast, can't comment on the breakfast. All in all, I was very satisfied with my choice. Value, comfort and location were all top for me.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for visiting Aberdeen, close to all amenities, bus stations, rail station and within walking distance to all shopping areas. It very well looked after, the hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff are all well trained in there positions, they are very informative regarding the area for shopping, dinning out and attractions. It also has plenty onsite, restaurants, bars and quiet areas so basically however you want to spend your stay, it has it all on your doorstep. There is some parking at the rear of the property and it is very reasonably priced for a city centre hotel.

Lovely welcome on arrival, complimentary upgrade for my husbands 50th birthday was a lovely touch. Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Love that we could access a range of pubs without leaving the building and the live music event was a real added bonus. Room (suite) was clean, spacious and comfortable. Perfect central location for shopping, bars etc. Excellent buffet breakfast and loved the more sociable breakfast and checkout times - finally a hotel that understands that you don’t want breakfast and chucked out by 10am on a Sunday!!

The staff were great very helpful . My room was clean and had a very good sleep . Went for breakfast was good but bacon and sausages were cold . However service was good . There was an older lady who took welcomed you into the breakfast room . She no smile she seemed to be a bit of a police lady with staff and guests . This stood out for me . Looked like she was in charge but she was a bit over the top . No very welcoming . I notice this with everyone . All other staff were Brillant friendly and was very helpful.
